From its opening, Le Boeuf sur le Toit (the Ox on the Roof) has been the icon of the Roaring Twenties. It quickly became the centre of Paris cabaret society and reigned throughout the twenties, with regulars such as Stravinsky, Coco Chanel, Charlie Chaplin, Francis Poulenc or Satie among others. Through their music, Marcela Roggeri & François Chaplin will recreate the effervescent spirit of this symbol of the avant-garde art scene between the wars.

5.30pm – 5.50pm: solo performance by Alexandre Lory (Paris Conservatoire)
6.00pm – 7.00pm: concert by Marcela Roggeri and François Chaplin (Saint-Saëns, Poulenc, Milhaud, Ravel, Gershwin, Debussy, Piazzolla)
