Magnetic Residency: Maxime Voidy at Aberystwyth Art Centre, Wales

As part of the January – March 2024 Magnetic Residency, run by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, Aberystwyth is welcoming Maxime Voidy, an artist based in Bretagne, France.

Locals Only is a research on the impact of tourism on coastal communities. It’s about daily life, access to work, culture, leisure, public services and especially access to housing. It’s also about exploring the polysemic nature of the term “inhabit” with theory and poetry.
