No Other Land

Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta, has been peacefully resisting the Israeli occupation since childhood. While documenting the gradual erasure of Masafer Yatta over several years, Basel crosses paths with Yuval, an Israeli journalist who joins his fight for justice. Their complex bond is haunted by the extreme inequality between them: Basel, living under military occupation, and Yuval, unrestricted and free. This award-winning film, by a Palestinian-Israeli collective of four young activists, was co-directed prior to 7 October 2023 as an act of creative resistance and as an urgent search for a path towards equality and mutual recognition.
