To all candidates sitting an exam to apply for French nationality

You may be aware that the immigration Law in France is subject to changes which will affect the process to apply for French nationality.

It has come to our attention that a decree of law could be signed this summer which would affect the process for French nationality. Indeed, from September, you could be required to demonstrate a level B2 to apply for French nationality.

From the 2nd of May, the TCF IRN (Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité) will test your level up to the B2 and the certificate will be sent by email 3 to 4 weeks after the test.

As for the candidates registering to the Delf sessions due in June and July, we may provide a certificate of achievement to help with your process of application as you are usually required to present the certificate itself (please note that it may take 3 to 4 months after the results day for the certificate to be delivered).
