Guided by three female divers, A Deep Breath, Women Filmmakers (Arnasa Betean) is an immersion into the world of a number of women filmmakers. They are Basque, but the vision is universal: the stories of their films, their visions, their dreams, their efforts, the challenges they face and their contribution to cinema as a whole. The directors expertly weave the divers journeys with films extracts and testimonials capturing the sprit of female cinematic creatives and their enduring quest for recognition and equality.
