On Tour with Pina Bausch

For five weeks, Chantal Akerman followed Pina Bausch and her dancers from the Tanztheater Wuppertal to Venice, Milan, and Avignon. Through scenes taken from the shows, and rehearsal and preparation sequences, the director sought to evoke through images the artistic and imaginary world of the German choreographer.
