
Based on the true story of Aranzazu Berradre Marín, the pseudonym for the only police officer in Spanish history to successfully infiltrate the terrorist organisation ETA, La infiltrada (Undercover) follows her as she navigates the circles surrounding ETA, posing as a young sympathiser. After several years undercover, ETA finally contacts her—they need to use her apartment for two members of the organisation tasked with preparing multiple attacks. Veteran Echevarría and Yuste deliver a powerful portrayal of a woman’s sacrifice for the role of her life, offering insight into the complex intricacies of the organisation.
