An Evening with Tatty Macleod

Thu 10 Oct

Stand-up comedian and writer Tatty Macleod has built a career comparing the French and the English. Thanks to her online sketches she has built a community of over 500k followers across social media. She went on to write a critically acclaimed debut hour of Stand-Up Fugue which led to a sold-out UK tour with further UK and European dates planned this autumn. In this exceptional event created especially for the French Institute, Tatty shares extracts from her show and of her writing followed by a Q&A with journalist Jason Solomons. It’s an opportunity to pull back the curtain and delve behind the jokes to discuss some of the themes from her work such as: what does it mean to belong? And how do we define identity in a culturally fluid world?
