Nicola L.: I Am The Last Woman Object

Supported by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, this exhibit offers a comprehensive insight into Nicola L.‘s inventive and avant-garde artistic contributions. It marks the first in-depth exploration of Nicola L.’s expansive, multidisciplinary work across sculpture, performance, painting, collage, and film, often imbued with a sense of wit and playfulness.

With I Am The Last Woman Object, the Moroccan-born French artist ventured into themes of cosmology, spirituality, environmentalism, and political activism. Central to the show are her Pénétrables, interactive textile sculptures, along with a variety of subversive functional objects she designed, capturing her radical vision.
