His three most acclaimed feature films, newly digitised and remastered, will be shown in London for the first time. Starting with the witty fable The Wizard and the Sheriff on 7 February at the Embassy of Brazil’s Auditorium, this exceptional mini-season will continue at Ciné Lumière on Carnival Saturday with the nouvelle-vague style film-collage Journey to the End of the World and the carnivalesque comedy Sweet Thieves.
