Remembering Auschwitz-Birkenau
The 27 January 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
On this occasion, we’ll reflect on the discovery of the terrible reality of the concentration camps with a film season, including Louis Malle’s Goodbye, Children, Son of Saul by László Nemes, Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest and Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain. Oliver Dahan’s biopic on Simone Veil will also be shown alongside a special screening of The Splendour and Misery of the Maison Camondo attended by Ruth Zylberman and Edmund de Waal.
