Ahead of the Olympic Games, taking place in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024, we put sport in the spotlight with a film series exploring the role that viewing plays in the making of live sport.
The position of viewership in cinema and sport is one of great comparison. Observing something collectively in a dedicated space is a shared experience across the two disciplines. It is this very viewership that is often a point of realisation for those who go on to be the ones being watched.
