This initiative launched by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, in support of the National Consortium for Languages Education, a Department for Education programme aimed at promoting foreign modern language learning in England, will offer students from 20 state schools the opportunity to take part in a series of activities promoting the French language.
500 Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students from 20 state schools are expected to take part in 40 workshops organised by the Institut français to promote French Language and Francophone cultures through virtual reality experience, sport-related sessions and short film screenings.
In March 2024, the roadshow will stop in 5 locations: Newcastle, Lincoln, Birmingham, Solihull and Cheltenham.
