This initiative launched by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni, in support of the National Consortium for Languages Education, a Department for Education programme aimed at promoting foreign modern language learning in England, will offer students from 20 state schools the opportunity to take part in a series of activities promoting the French language.

400 Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 students from 20 state schools are expected to take part in 40 workshops organised by the Institut français to promote French Language and Francophone cultures through virtual reality experience, sport-related sessions and short film screenings.

In 2025, the roadshow will stop in 4 locations: Dereham, Lincoln, Solihull and Portsmouth.
