In conversation with writer Robbie Arnott and singer-songwriter Malachy Tallack on the 20 August, Jean-Baptiste del Amo will discuss the themes of inheritance, fatherhood and generational trauma as exposed in his recent novel, The Son of Man (Fitzcarraldo Editions, 2024).
On 21 August, the prolific author Anne Serre will discuss with Lee Randall her latest success, A Leopard-Skin Hat (Lolli Editions, 2024) and its depictions of the hardships and challenges of care, friendship, and loss as resulting from a psychological disorder.
Finally, on 22 August, critically acclaimed author of Vladivostok Circus (Daunt Books, 2024) Elisa Shua Dusapin will delve into the inherent beauty of competition and costume designers emerging from her novel’s brutal setting of the wintery, Russian far east. She will be in dialogue with Rita Bullwinkel.
